Harrison Nguyen
Physiotherapist
Harrison is a Curtin University graduate with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy. From a young age, he has always engaged in various sports ranging from Zen Do Kai to Basketball, and more prominently Volleyball where he has previously won the Division 1 title in the Western Australia Volleyball League. As a long-time member of Balcatta Volleyball Club, Harrison has spent the past 5 years competing as an athlete and contributing as a coach where he currently coaches the Division 1 Reserve Women’s team, and more recently has been promoted to the position of Club Treasurer.
Through previous lived experiences, Harrison understands the physiological and psychological limitations that come with injury. He is especially passionate in sports rehabilitation and performance and enjoys following individuals in their journey – not only through rehabilitation, but also through helping them to excel past their pre-injury baseline performance. He is particularly interested in athletic training, with a passion in strength training and plyometrics to assist athletes in increasing power and explosiveness.
